O clima é assunto comum nas nossas conversas do dia-a-dia. Vamos aprender algumas expressões sobre o clima, em inglês.

- Como está o clima? What’s the weather like?
What’s the weather like today? (Como está o tempo hoje?)

- Tempo esquisito: Strange weather
What strange weather we’re having! (Que tempo estranho esse!)

- Chover: Rain
It’s finally decided to rain. (Finalmente resolveu chover.)

- Parece que vai chover: It looks like it’s going to rain. (Parece que vai chover.)

- Previsão do tempo: Weather forecast

- Clima frio; de clima quente: Cold-weather; hot-weather

- Fazer sol, ventar: To be sunny, to be windy
It’s going to be sunny tomorrow. (Vai fazer sol amanhã.)
It is windy today. (Está ventando hoje.)

- Fechar: Turn bad
The weather suddenly turned bad. (O clima fechou de repente.)

- Melhorar (clima): Clear up
The weather cleared up early in the afternoon. (O tempo melhorou no início da tarde.)

- Nevoeiro: Fog

- Relâmpago, raio: Lightning

- Calorento/friorento: Sensitive to the heat/cold
He's sensitive to the heat. (Ele é calorento.)
Are you sensitive to the cold? (Você é friorento?)
